Surveillance footage captured the moment a masked gunman chased and shot a 24-year-old victim in front of two children attempting to flee from the gunshots.
In the video, the target is seen running away with a crowd of people before falling over two children and allowing the shooter to catch up to him. The gunman shot at the victim at point-blank range as the 24-year-old crawled around in an attempt to avoid the shots.

Police say the shooter fired at least 12 rounds before fleeing on a scooter. The victim was hit once in the back and once in each leg before he was taken to a Bronx hospital. The victim is expected to survive and the children were not injured.
