Gun belonging to murdered soldier found

A Glock 19 pistol belonging to murdered soldier Junior Chase was found by the TTPS.

According to ADD News TT a team of officers from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region III received a tip off on Sunday about the missing firearm.

The exercise was coordinated by Supt Dhilpaul and supervised by Insp Maharaj, Sgt Radhaykissoon, and involved detectives Siewdath, Bernard, and Ramsar.

Chase, 35, was shot dead while trying to de-escalate an argument between his girlfriend and a man on Vipers Street, San Fernando on Good Friday.

During the argument, the man shot Chase who tried to defend himself with his pistol but was unsuccessful.
