Griffith to PM: Put feelings aside and accept help to make country safe again

Gary Griffith says that we have a nation to defend and that’s what’s important.

He says he has heard comments that his offer to help the Prime Minister would be helping the PNM but he believes that the most important thing is ensuring that people are finally safe and violent crime is abated.

He maintains the idea that it’s more important to pander to personal feelings and not the safety of the country is ridiculous.

The Former top cop is offering Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley his expertise to help deal with the crime situation in Trinidad and Tobago.

In a video message to the Prime Minister the National Transformation Alliance (NTA) political leader, urged Dr Rowley to set aside his differences and give him the opportunity to share his plans, strategies and policies.

Griffith told the Power Breakfast Show this morning that he knows what has to be done and it has worked in the past.

And the same approach can be taken to help with the burgeoning crime situation in Trinidad and Tobago at present.

He maintained that crime in T&T should not be politicised but rather all attempts should be made to ensure there is corporation in helping to eradicate the problem.
