Griffith: No way Gov’t won anything in yesterday’s FUL audit ruling

There is no way that both sides won, the Government got nothing!

This is according to Former Commissioner Gary Griffith who spoke on the Power Breakfast Show this morning on Power 102 Digital.

Griffith convinced the High Court to prevent the Prime Minister and the National Security Council (NSC) from laying any part of a controversial firearm user’s licence (FUL) audit report in Parliament.

He said Keith Rowley lost badly in court yesterday and that given the findings the only thing that can be done with the report is give it to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.  He said he is at a loss as to how anyone can even think that the Government achieved partial victory in the courts yesterday.

He maintained that what the court has now done is held everyone responsible for the report accountable.
