Grenada And Surniname Interested In Joining TT, Guyana, St Vincent And Barbados In Regional Cargo Service

Grenada and Suriname are interested in joining Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados in operating a regional cargo service.

Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, made the remarks while speaking at a news briefing held Wednesday afternoon where he provided an update on his recent visit to the energy conference held in Guyana.

He said the aim is start a cargo service which is sustainable and ground work is being done in sourcing appropriate vessels for such a venture.

The governments will also partner with the private sector in this cause.
