Gov’t warns of probe into Cambridge Analytica scandal

An investigation will be launched into the revelations of the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

At a press conference yesterday, National Security Minister Stuart Young said that the former Government may have used data mining to spy on citizens ahead of the 2015 elections. He made the claims following a book released by Cambridge Analytica whistle blower Christopher Wylie. The former employee of Cambridge Analytica claimed the UNC was involved in breaching the privacy of citizens. Minister Young said that the government has made international requests for information on the matter.

The National Security Minister also revealed the names of persons whom he claimed were responsible for collecting data on citizens.
