Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, urges the Opposition to join the government in supporting the proclamation by the President declaring the need for a State of Emergency.
Speaking in the House of Representatives this afternoon, Dr. Rowley said the proclamation is clear.
Dr Rowley gave a detailed build up as to what led Trinidad and Tobago up to this point insisting the government is doing all it can to protect citizens adding the aim is to have a significant amount of the population vaccinated against COVID-19.
