The Government says that it is on high alert for any cyclone activity th at could result from a strong Tropical Wave that is moving closer to this country.
Minister of Rural Development and Local Government Faris Al Rawi was joined by other members of the cabinet, the CEO of the ODPM and a representative of the Met Service at a news conference on Sunday to advise what is in place if the country does face severe weather over the next few days.
Al Rawi hosted a virtual media conference on Sunday.
He advised those in flood prone areas to and everyone in general to take preventative measures in advance to secure their properties and livestock.
