Gov’t denies claims of political discrimination with CEPEP teams

Government denies claims of political discrimination in the allocation of CEPEP teams across the country.

This position is highlighted by Leader of the Government Business in the House of Representatives, Camille Robinson Regis, this afternoon.

The response was given during the question and answer period in parliament.

At one point the proceedings became verbally between the government and opposition.

Before the verbal exchanges, Member of Parliament for Naparima, Rodney Charles, wanted the Minister of Rural Development and Local Government to provide reasons why the constituency of Naparima has only nine CEPEP teams.
