Gov’t Continues To Put Forward Its Bid For The Establishment Of The Trinidad & Tobago Revenue Authority

The government continues to put forward its bid for the establishment of the proposed Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority.

In the House of Representatives Wednesday afternoon, Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Brian Manning, outlined the various challenges which exist in the collection of taxes.

Minister Manning cited the wide range of benefits which will come Trinidad and Tobago’s ways with an improved tax collection system adding much needed revenue will be brought in that can now be used to get various good and services for the population.

Minister Manning during his presentation on the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Bill 2021 provided a projected breakdown of revenue which the Government expects to collect over the years.
