In particular circumstances, specialised services of health and safety are at times out sourced by Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited.
This update was provided by Minister of Trade and Industry, Paula Gopee Scoon, during the question and answer period in the Senate on Wednesday.
The Opposition bench wanted to know the names of the companies which were required to provide the specialised services to Paria.
However, Opposition Senator, Wade Mark, was told the question does not arise based on the initial question posed and the answer given.
The Opposition also inquired whether the Safety and Health function of the Paria Fuel Trading Company has been outsourced to a private firm; and the reasons for this decision.
