Government should consider Patient Complaints Authority for health sector

Independent Senator, Dr. Varma Deyalsingh, said the government should consider creating a Patient Complaints Authority in the healthcare system.

He was contributing to the Budget Debate which was passed in the Senate on Tuesday.

Dr. Deyalsingh also questioned why the death penalty has not been regularly enforced in this country.
