Government will distribute to those who qualify for it income support and salary relief grants this month.
It’s one of the COVID-19 relief measures being taken by the ruling administration.
Finance Minister, Colm Imbert, says this move will cost the government between twenty-five to thirty million dollars.
Minister Imbert made the announcement at a news briefing this afternoon.
The Finance Minister said the distribution of food baskets is another step which will be carried out for the months of May, June and July.
Minister Imbert also revealed assistance will also be given to small and medium sized businesses.
