Favourable, is how the government describes submissions, received to date, to the Evolving Technologies’ and Enterprise Development Company Limited for an international operator, investor, or purchaser for the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort.
Minister of Trade and Industry, Paula Gopee Scoon, said in April this year – through the national press – the intent for the resort was publicly indicated and ETECK has already started getting expressions of interest in the Hotel.
Additionally, Minister Gopee Scoon, said action has been taken to address what has been described as negative publicity suffered by the resort because of a report by a US Visitor.
This issue has been circulated on social media.
The visitor highlighted the need for structural repairs, improved service and complain of bad food.
Minister Gopee Scoon went into details as to what has been done to correct the development.
