Government Committed Passing Procurement Legislation Into Law, Says Prime Minister

The government is committed in getting procurement legislation proclaimed into law.

However, Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, says there is still work to be done before such a move is carried out.

Dr Rowley speaking at the Spotlight on the Economy cited what is being done in Jamaica as told to him by that country’s Prime Minister, Andrew Holness.

Dr Rowley said in spite of the issues relating to this, which must be addressed, the government is interested in resolving them and getting the legislation made law.
