$78.4M was allocated to the Public Service Commission in 2023.
This is more than funding allocated for 2021 and 2022.
However, if there was a shortfall in allocation to the Police Service Commission, Minister of Public Administration, Allyson West, said this matter can easily be addressed.
Minister West told the Senate on Tuesday that there is a routine and commonplace exercise which can be used to tackle this development and correction made in the Mid-Year Review.
The disclosure was made in context of a question from the opposition which claimed a May 2022 report indicated insufficient finances as one of the factors affecting the operations of the Police Service Commission.
