Member of Parliament for Lopinot/Bon Air West Marvin Gonzales says that continued rains in his constituency are contributing to flooding.
He says the major concern is that rivers will burst their banks.
The Met office changed to an Orange Alert for Riverine flooding today.
Gonzales told the Power Breakfast Show this morning that while work is being done to mitigate issued caused by yesterday’s flooding concern continues on what today’s rains will bring.
He said that resources were mobilised and work is being done.
He also said he visited the family Theresa Lynch who was swept away by flood waters yesterday.
