St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, is requesting Trinidad and Tobago maintain its security presence in the country following the La Soufriere volcano.
Media reports say the first Trinidad and Tobago military contingent which arrived in St Vincent on April 13th is expected to leave the country later this week.
Speaking with TV6 News on Monday, Dr Gonsalves said the security situation is an area which needs adequate manpower especially during this challenging period.
