Ghislaine Maxwell was placed in solitary confinement at a Florida jail for 48 hours after speaking with TalkTv about her living conditions.
Maxwell is accused of profiting from the January 23, 2023 interview, but she denies making money from the outlet’s exclusive. She discussed her new life behind bars in the interview and blamed her former lover, Jeffrey Epstein, for her downward spiral. Following the interview’s broadcast, jail officials handcuffed Maxwell and placed her in the Special Housing Unit at FCI Tallahassee.
Maxwell was sentenced to serve 20 years at prison and she will spend most of her time making 15 cents an hour scrubbing toilets. During the sentencing, she apologized to Epstein’s victims for his actions.
