Limiting movement and maintaining the pandemic measures is saving the population from a Covid catastrophe.
This is according to Geneticist Nicole Ramlachan who says that while some may not be in support of mask wearing, social distancing and other measures put in place to mitigate the ill effects of the Covid virus, the fact that the authorities continue to keep these things in place is saving lives.
She told the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital this morning that if this is not done, cases and deaths will skyrocket.
She said that while people may be fed up and call for Carnival celebrations to resume next year, the Covid virus isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and continues to remain very dangerous.
