The Gender and Child Affairs Division of the Office of the Prime Minister is urging citizens to wear purple on Monday 8th March, in celebration of International Women’s Day 2021.
The Division said this is an opportunity to show support while celebrating the invaluable contributions made by women and girls toward a growing and evolving Trinidad and Tobago.
This year’s theme is “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world”.
