A Gasparillo backhoe operator dies days after allegedly being choked on the job site.
A post-mortem examination is set to determine how the Gasparillo backhoe operator died.
As reported by ADD News TT Sylvan “Brama” Soogrim, forty -six, was on duty at his company’s Phoenix Park Road, California, Couva, office last Saturday when he got into an altercation with another worker.
Soogrim was allegedly choked by the man before other workers intervened separating both men.
Soogrim later collapsed and was rushed to the Couva District Health Facility where he received medical attention and was transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital where he remained unresponsive and succumbed to injuries on Tuesday afternoon.
Homicide detectives from the Region Three Office are continuing the investigation
