Gary Aboud claims police acted unfairly as he denies “anti-vaxx” protest

President of Fishermen and Friends of the Sea, Gary Aboud has suggested that yesterday’s protest was not about an anti-vaxx campaign.

Aboud was one of thirty people held by the police yesterday during the protest.

He revealed that they were charged for breaching the public health regulations before being released overnight.

The activist however accused the police of wrongfully arresting several persons there including a journalist and other innocent bystanders.

He also alleged that the officers themselves also repeatedly breached COVID health protocols.

Aboud refused to name the organizer of the event alleging that the person risks being targeted but dismissed reports that yesterday’s protest was an anti-vaxx protest.

He told Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show that he was invited and was there to educate and inform people about corruption in Government.
