Gabriel Faria says sanctions more likely than ‘safe- zone’ Carnival early next year

While a ‘Safe Zone’ Carnival could provide much needed jobs and give the economy a boost the likelihood of it taking place in February is little to none.

This is according to Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce Gabriel Faria.

In fact he believes there may be more sanctions imposed if Covid numbers do not go down, however he feels that a safe zone Carnival is possible later in the year.

He made the comment while speaking on the Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show on Tuesday.
