Four More Families Lose Their Loved Ones Due To COVID-19 In TT.

Four more persons have passed away from Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

The persons were three elderly males and one elderly female with co-morbidities.

In its latest clinical update Friday afternoon, the Ministry of Health said this brings the total number of related deaths to one thousand, four hundred and forty-one.

The Ministry said two hundred and forty-six additional persons have tested positive for Covid-19.

It said sixteen persons have been discharged from public health facilities.

The Ministry said there have been one hundred sixty-five recovered community cases.

Meanwhile, there are two hundred and ninety-three patients in hospital.

In terms of home self-isolation there are three thousand, six hundred and sixty three persons.

At state quarantine facilities one hundred and fourteen patients make up that amount.

Sixty-six patients are in step down facilities.

The Ministry said forty-three thousand, nine hundred and seventy-seven have recovered from COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
