Four arrested in raid and search exercise in Tobago

Shirvan Road CID executes successful raid and search exercise which resulted in the arrest of four persons and the seizure of items of interest yesterday.

On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, between 9:15 p.m. and 10:50 p.m., a coordinated raid and search exercise by the Shirvan Road CID resulted in the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of several items of interest.

The operation, which was conducted based on recent reports of crime, involved searches at multiple locations in the Shirvan Road district. During the exercise; at one residence, a large TV, an Amazon Fire Stick, and a Lorex DVR were recovered. At another home in the area, a Goulds pump and a Samsung TV were retrieved.

The arrested individuals include:
• A 24-year-old female from Friends Field Calder Hall
• A 33-year-old male from Buccoo Road Mt Pleasant
• A 23-year-old male from Lot 111 Sou Sou Lands, Tobago
• A 37-year-old male from St Helena Village, Trinidad

The successful execution of this operation was directed by ACP Hazel and professionally coordinated by Snr. Supt. Kirk. The operation was spearheaded by ASP Barath of Area West and supervised by Ag Sgt Thomas, with the involvement of a dedicated team from the IATF, Task Force, K9 Unit, and Scarborough CID.

This exercise underscores the commitment of the Shirvan Road CID and its allied units to combat criminal activities and enhance community safety in the Shirvan Road district.
