Former UNC MP Razack Ali has died.
He served as the elected member for Ortoire-Mayaro from 1995 to 2000 under the Basdeo Panday government.
Current Mayaro MP Rushton Paray sent his tribute via an online post, stating he “was a devoted and hard-working representative who honorably served his large and diverse constituency”.
Mr. Parad added that Mr. Razack “worked tirelessly to secure employment and educational opportunities, and to improve infrastructure, healthcare, and utility services.”
