Former Clerk Of The House Now TT Ombudsman

Former Clerk of the House, Jacqui Sampson Meiguel, is sworn in as the Ombudsman of Trinidad and Tobago.

She was sworn in by Speaker of the House, Bridgid Annisette-George, on Monday for a period of three years.

Sampson Meiguel is an attorney at law.

She served as Clerk of the House, from 1995 to 2024.

The parliament says she brings to the office her many years of experience in public service as a senior manager and accounting officer.
