Police are investigating a shooting in Cocorite on Wednesday night which claimed the life of a 47-year-old URP foreman.
Avid Reece, also known as “Bliny,” of Upper Waterhole, Cocorite, was found lying motionless on the gallery to the west of his home.
According to police reports, around 8:35pm first responders from the Western Division Task Force were on mobile patrol in the St James area when they received a transmission from the Command Center regarding a shooting incident in Cocorite.
Upon arrival at #1 Upper Waterhole, officers observed a large crowd gathered near Reece’s home.
Reece sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
