Former Health Minister Fuad Khan is calling on the Government to conduct autopsies on Covid positive patients who die.
His comments come following the revelation from the Chief Medical officer that three persons to date have died, supposedly due to covid19, despite being fully vaccinated.
CMO Dr Roshan Parasram on Saturday said the three had severe comorbidities, which possibly contributed to their deaths.
However, speaking this morning on Power 102 Digital, Dr Khan said that attributing their deaths to COVID-19 was not good enough particularly without an autopsy to certify the cause of death.
Dr Khan suggested that the Government has an ulterior motive for not conducting autopsies on persons who die while they are COVID positive.
He claimed that the Government’s refusal to do what being doing in other countries is fuelling Covid fears.
