Floods, lanslides, structural damage in the East following heavy rain

Several areas have experienced adverse conditions including flooding due to the inclement weather.

Chairman of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation Kwasi Robinson said that several areas have been affected by overnight and early morning rainfall.

He said outside of flooding, there have been landslips and other issues.

He said assessments are being done to ensure help reaches those who need it.
