Prolonged afternoon showers in east and central Trinidad on Thursday led to flash flooding.
Reports state that up to three inches of rainfall was recorded across parts of Chaguanas, Endeavour, and Charlieville where multiple roadways became inundated as drains and small streams reached capacity.
Parts of Tunapuna were also affected by the heavy downpour.
Officers from the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service were spotted at Eleanor Street and Market Road, Chaguanas on Thursday afternoon rescuing a woman and two children who drove into the highly flooded streets.
