The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service conducted a ‘Roving Road Check and Searches’ in Central Trinidad.
The ‘Roving Road Check’ was done along with Community-based patrols; which were carried out at various locations in the Central Division (CD).
The exercise was conducted by personnel from the CD ERP and the CD Community Police between the hours of 9.00 am and 2 pm today.
According to the TTPS, several fixed penalty tickets were issued for failure to wear face masks while numerous stop and search forms were completed.
Several persons and vehicles were also searched.
