The MET Service has advised that a Yellow Level Hazardous Seas Alert will be in place from 2am on Sunday September 5th, to 12pm on Friday September 10th.
The MET Service says north-easterly to easterly high energy swells are expected to impact nearshore areas along exposed coastlines of Trinidad and Tobago.
These swells can result in higher surfs and occasional battering waves.
All those with marine interests are advised to carefully monitor nearshore coastal sea conditions and to exercise caution along affected areas.
