Fired TTPS employees want ALL their money….NOW!

Contracted TTPS workers who were terminated yesterday after a newspaper expose regarding their contracts and their hiring by Gary Griffith are now demanding that their contracts be paid off in full.

Several of the former employees have reportedly demanded that they be paid a lump sum for the remainder of their contracts which could amount to millions of dollars.

The 15 persons who were sent home are yet to be told how the financial remuneration for the remainder of their contracts will be honoured, as no terms and conditions were outlined in their dismissal letter.

Monday, the 15 contracted workers, who were all hired by former Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith, were handed their termination letters by Deputy Commissioner of Police McDonald Jacob with cost cutting cited as the reason for their dismissal.

Several of the former employees say that they prefer to have their contracts paid up in full so as to allow them to completely sever ties with the TTPS and move on with their lives.

The terminated workers were earning between $18k and $42K per month with the length of time remaining on thier contracts ranged from several months to almost 2 years.
