One firearm and a quantity of ammunition were found by officers of the Central Division, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Esperanza district yesterday afternoon.
Officers conducted the exercise around 3 pm, on Thursday 21st July, 2022, during which they proceeded to Spike Avenue, where they conducted a search of a track in the district.
The search resulted in officers finding a white plastic bag containing one Glock 19 pistol loaded with a magazine containing five rounds of ammunition.
Investigations are ongoing.
