Finance Ministry: Discussions With TTUTA On Proposed Increase Of Retirement Age, Productive And Cordial

Productive and cordial, this is how the Finance Ministry describes discussions between Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Brian Manning and his executive team and members of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association on Wednesday.

In a media release, the Finance Ministry said Minister Manning continues to consult with stakeholders on the proposed increase in the compulsory age of retirement from 60 to 65 years old.

The release said consultations with other trade unions will continue in the near future.
