Finance Minister: Goverenment Has Taken A Decision Decrease To Current Fuel Subsidy

Government has taken a decision to decrease the current rate of the fuel subsidy .

This was announced Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, in the presentation of the national budget in the House of Representatives, on Monday.

He revealed that Government will spend over 2.2 billion dollars in fuel subsidies over the next fiscal year.

As such fuel prices are due to increase, with immediate effect, to the following amounts:

Premium Gasoline – $7.75

Super Gasoline – $6.97

Diesel – $4.41
