Fiery Protest In Bejucal Central Trinidad

Residents of Bejucal staged a fiery protest Monday morning to highlight the deplorable condition of their road which is used by thousands of vehicles daily.

The residents burnt tyres and marched with placards and were joined by Member of Parliament for Chaguanas West Dinesh Rambally.

Mr Rambally said the residents have chosen to protest as a means of last resort as their pleas for help to address a litany of problems have gone unheeded by the authorities.

Mr Rambally said businesses have chipped in to provide resources to help alleviate the hardship faced by the residents but urgent intervention is needed by the Ministry of Works and Transport.
