Farley’s TPP to hold internal elections this Sunday

The Tobago People’s Party will host its first internal election this Sunday 7 July.

This will be the firt internal election since it was founded over a year ago.

The election was initially due to be held on June 30, but had to be cancelled due to hurricane Beryl.

Farley Augustine will go up for political leader uncontested, while the slate of nominees for 12 positions includes former Tobago Forwards candidate Kelton Thomas, former Tobago fire service head David Thomas, deputy Chief Secretary Faith B.Yisrael, Infrastructure Secretary Trevor James, and former Tobago Forwards political leader and past Justice Minister Christlyn Moore.

Each will be vying for pivotal positions within the party’s framework.
