Family Feud: Brothers kill each other while cousin stabs relative in the neck

The police were kept busy this weekend as two brothers died at the hands of the other, and a relative remains warded in critical condition after being stabbed twice in the neck by his cousin.

In the first instance, 26-year old Christopher Williams and 31-year old Gabriel Joseph got into a fight around 12:45pm on Saturday.

While not much is known about the reason for the fight, witnesses said the two stabbed each at Baker Trace, Pioneer Drive, Petit Valley.

They were taken to the hospital to be treated, but both died as a result of their injuries.

Meanwhile, a relative stabbed his cousin in the neck on Friday.

Reports indicate that around 10:15pm, the victim was at his Stephen Trace, Malabar home with some relatives when he got into an argument with the suspect.

They both broke glass bottles and began to fight, but the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim twice in the neck. He then escaped.

The victim was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he remains warded in a critical condition. He is said to have suffered a punctured lung.

Police have mounted a search for the suspect who is believed to be from Lawrence Park, Arima.

Investigations are continuing into both incidents.
