Extreme Heat Leads Questions For The Met Office

Many have complained of sweltering heat during the course of the day, today, likening the temperature to that of 35 degrees Celsius, somewhat disregarding the Met Office’s forecasted maximum temperature of 32 degree Celsius.

Izzso media carried out several checks to weather forecast sites and applications which produced results that varied. Seeking clarification, our reporter contacted Communications Meteorologist, Gary Benjamin, who provided an in-depth explanation.

Mr Benjamin was sure to point out that environmental factors which differ across the country, contribute significant to how heat in the atmosphere is perceived.

However, Mr Benjamin maintained that the temperature indeed stands at  of 32 degrees Celsius.
