Expect nothing but good vibes and good music when Dexter ‘Blaxx’ Stewart takes to the Queen’s Hall stage tonight for Harmony 3.
That’s according to Richard Gordon, president of Kairi People, who are part event organisers.
Gordon, speaking to izzo this morning, said like any Kairi People event, patrons can expect a value for money show, filled with lots of great music.
Gordon said his Kairi team always had a good relationship with Blaxx and the All Stars, as they have supported Kairi events and vice versa.
He said it was the perfect marriage and when called upon to organize the event today, they had to return the love and took the reins of stage management, promotions and marketing.
He said Blaxx’ repertoire is going to be filled with selections that people have not heard in ages and they will be sure to be dancing in their seats.
With the event being held at Queen’s Hall, we had to ask about what would be done to control patrons dancing in the aisles, as was the issue with a Sekon Star concert recently.
However, Gordon said that in terms of social distancing at the Queen’s Hall venue, they have increased security and will ensure to make the necessary announcement to patrons in terms of dancing in their seats.
Gordon assured that all protocols would be observed especially in light of the fact that the audience expected is more of a mature one.
So, who will be performing this evening?
Gordon told us to look out for performances from Farmer Nappy, Lyrikal, Erphaan Alves, Kernel Roberts, Baron, Swappi and a surprise guest…(hint he is a former international soca monarch.)
Karene Asche will also be on hand to do a tribute to late icon Singing Sandra.
Gordon said Blaxx and the All Stars had a special relationship with Sandra and found it only fitting to pay homage to her.
Harmony 3, at Queen’s Hall, begins at 7.30 pm sharp and will be hosted by Jason Williams and Whitney Husbands.
The show will be streamed locally on CNC3 and will also be streamed internationally at live.allaccess.events.
