Executive management at the Water and Sewage Authority will be reduced by 50 percent.
The move is part of WASA’s transformation plan.
Cabinet is also supporting the venture.
Confirmation of this comes from Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales.
Minister Gonzales said mere restructuring has not worked in the past.
The Public Utilities Minister said change is required on various fronts and must be implemented in stages.
Speaking during a news briefing of the Ministry on Thursday afternoon, Mr Gonzales said the move is necessary and is expected to bring about a better service utility.
