Energy Minister holds talks with Repsol

Stuart R. Young, MP, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister along with Mrs. Penelope Bradshaw-Niles, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries; Ms. Sandra Fraser, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries; Mr. Marc Rudder, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy Industries; and other officials at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries met with, Repsol executives at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries’ International Waterfront Complex Head Office, Port-of-Spain. The meeting took place on 11th June, 2024.

The meeting facilitated the opportunity for the Repsol executives to meet with the Honourable Minister and technical staff at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries to discuss its operations in relation to its global, strategic outlook.

Noting the complex interplay of varied interests when it comes to domestic and international energy markets, Minister Young has been actively leading the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries to communicate with and involve stakeholders in various processes that will attract investments to Trinidad and Tobago and aid stakeholders in meeting sustainability ambitions.

The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries continues to be a long-standing and collaborative partner to all energy sector stakeholders.
