Emperor Valley Zoo praises Fay-Ann for noise pollution awareness during Hybrd Nation pump

Soca icon Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez and her Hybrd Nation team along with Viking Bunji Garlin hosted its annual Soca pump and exercise up Lady Chancellor Hill on Saturday.

This Soca pump includes a music truck which helps motivates exercise enthusiasts to complete the journey up Chancellor Hill, engage in exercise routines on the top of the hill and back down.

The Emperor Valley Zoo in its constant effort for citizens to be aware of noise pollution that affects the Zoo’s animals praised Lyons-Alvarez for being mindful of this, by keep the music on the truck low while passing the Zoo.

Emperor Valley Zoo wrote a warm thank you note to the Hybrd Nation team.

“We thank Mrs. Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez and her team for their kind consideration of the animals at the Zoo with regard to their event held yesterday(14th January 2023).

The walk of Lady Chancellor Road began at the base of the road just off of the Queen’s Park Savannah, the music truck proceeded up the hill with a low volume as to not frighten or startle any of the animals as they made their way, the volume was only increased after passing a safe distance from the zoo’s compound.

This is an act of true thoughtfulness and comradery on the part of Mrs. Lyons-Alvarez and shows how we can all exist together in harmony.

Thank you again from the Animals and Staff of the Emperor Valley Zoo.”
