11 More Deaths From Covid-19, 1,720 Overall In TT

11 more families have lost their loved ones due to the Covid-19 virus.

The persons were six elderly males, four elderly females and one middle aged male.

In its latest clinical update the Ministry of Health said this brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths to 1,720.

It said six patients had multiple comorbidities, including diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease and cancers.

The Ministry said two persons had a single comorbidity, high blood pressure or diabetes.

Three individuals had no known comorbidity.

Meanwhile, 294 additional persons have tested positive for Covid-19.

29 persons have been discharged from public health facilities.

There have been 151 recovered community cases.
