Attorney General, Faris Al Rawi, says the Electronic Payments Into and Out of Court Amendment Bill, 2021, is part of efforts by the government to modernized and make transactions faster and easier for citizens.
The AG made the comment while piloting the bill in the House of Representatives this afternoon.
The AG also elaborated on how the bill will operate in terms of revenue collection.
