A drive-by gun attack in Petit Valley on Wednesday night has claimed the life of a 63-year-old man.
The victim, who hails from Cameron Road, Petit Valley, has been identified as Farell Toussaint.
Around 7:30pm, Toussaint was in the front passenger seat of a blue Nissan Frontier driven by a man from the area.
Toussaint’s 36-year-old son was seated in the back seat.
Reports state that while they were proceeding along Cameron Road, a black car sped past them and swiftly turned around.
On approaching their vehicle, the occupants of the other car opened fire on the Frontier, hitting Toussaint several times.
Toussaint was taken to the St James Medical Complex, but died on arrival.
Investigations are continuing.
