A vacation revision programme is being established by the Ministry of Education from July 18th to August 12th this year.
It will be conducted at 26 secondary schools in a face to face format.
The Ministry said more schools will be added to facilitate students on the north and south coast.
Over 9,000 students scored less than fifty percent in the 2022 Secondary Entrance Assessment.
It was also revealed the SEA 2022 results showed what has been described as clear learning gaps, with a marked increase in students achieving less than thirty percent.
Acting Leader of Government Business in the Senate, Paula Gopee Scoon, made the disclosure on Monday.
Answering a question on behalf of the Minister of Education, Minister Gopee Scoon, said the programme will require six hundred teachers who will be recruited from the primary and secondary schools.
